INDIA HAD NEVER BEEN A HINDU RASHTRA

Had India ever belong to Hindus only? This is a question about which Indians must be made aware. If someone insists for any Hindu Rashtra in India's past that one is neglecting Dravidian culture, Indus Valley culture, Buddhist-Jain Indian traditions and a significant sections of atheists who were always on this land. The notion that India belongs to Hindus only could develop only in medieval part which is a very short period of  about 1000 years. And Indian history is much larger than this Hindu realization.
       I'm not making complicated but today's politicians . And those who aspire to oppose these streams of politics are not able to counter . Many Indians don't understand why they tend to endorse idea of a Hindu Rashtra whereas India in the past, particularly in ancient past had never been a Hindu Rashtra.
     Buddhism and Jainism are essentially different from Hinduism in their belief systems and in their concepts of human relation with cosmos.
   When we talk about religious demography we first need to see and ascertain what's the relation between shudras and vanvasis with Hinduism. Stories of Sutputra, Hidimba, Ghatotkach, Barbarik, Eklavya  Sabri etc show they were religiously out of Hindu fold. Even today Hindus don't  cover all these and concept of religious demography is very simplistic in case of modern days SC/ST. 
       Idea of Hindu Rashtra was never in the history of the subcontinent unless MUSLIM LEAGUE AND RSS-HINDU MAHASABHA propagated two nation theory. We must come out with historical realities to counter whatsapp history which is blatantly fake.
        From the theological perspective both Buddhism and Jainism completely reject basics of Hinduism which is essentially engrained with  the idea of God and practices of rituals. Further contrary to Hinduism both were Monastery based religions Both religions completely distance themselves from rituals of the Veda. Of course Hinduism made an absurd effort , though half heartedly to include Buddha as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Further during entire period of Buddhism -Jainism  tussle with Brahminical religious order which later on called Hinduism was very much alive. Pushyamitr Shunga 's role can't be overlooked.
    And SCs/STs in their pristine form were never recognized as Hindus as they were never given a place of worthy in the Varna system as evident from extra-historical and historical accounts.
          For what purpose atheists are included in Hindu fold? Of course in Indian religious demographic data atheism gets no place as LGBQ+ gets no mention in gender category. Only for this reason a person Hindu by birth and atheist by faith has no chance to get included in some separate category. Same is with SC/ST.
     Secondly idol worship is not an essential ingredient of Hinduism. Rather Hinduism finds her recognition from her Scriptures which include Vedas, Vedanta, Puranas. And Buddhism (and Jainism) has nothing to do with them.
    Thirdly only on the basis of certain similarities as u mentioned concept of  rebirth  no two can be treated as identical. Many other religions have same belief but they can't be said to be Hinduism on such basis. Rather, source of religion from where she gets originated is important.
       To know that Hindus are fierce, one has to go into the myth-history.  Then Hindus can never be acquitted of the charge of violence at the time of Partition.  Don't forget that no Muslim or British had committed  a deadly attack on Gandhi and Gandhi's ideas.  These examples were mentioned only to show that Hindus were never as peace loving as claimed by protagonists of the Hindu Rashtra. And further perpetrators of idea of Hindu Rashtra has never clearly explained what is  actual meaning of Hindu Rashtra in case such a nation is finally established as per their wishes.
         The most dangerous thing that has happened is that by deliberately keeping Hindus unaware of the rich tradition and literature of India which has never been of Hindu colour only. Religiosity, fundamentalism, religious skepticism, atheism, multi religious streams all have been here in Indian Tradition of Intellectualism but  baseless communal things are being propagated by taking help of mass media as the core of Hindu religion.  And those who have the responsibility of political opposition to these wrong things are more corrupt and worthless than the people of this communal stream.
     And keep one more thing in mind. As long as religion is limited to the individual, it is non-political and for the group this word always has political meaning.  A person can be religious,  a state/nation/kingdom/colony etc can never be religious.  
   Thus we can safely conclude that
 1. The Indian subcontinent has never been a Hindu nation.
 2. The concept of Hindu Rashtra is a political agenda aimed at capturing power by an anti-democratic, dictatorial regime.
 3. Its purpose is to keep the majority of the population engrossed in communal issues so that they can be kept in a dilapidated condition  making them incapable of challenging  the dictatorship in any case. Religion is a super charged emotion which is highly sectarian in her political use and so people in general can be kept endlessly in the state of subjugation in name of religion

BEYOND RT MODEL

BEYOND RT MODEL History is a playbook of fierce struggle among the state, the market and the community. There have been some rare periods of balance among them.  Present is also witnessing this fierce struggle. The state is advocating minimum.governsnce  in many parts of the world . This was also happened in past. And whenever this has happened the loser is always the community. Present is marked by failures of Reagon-Thatcher Model. Richness must have only objective and that objective is to enrich the community as a whole. The RT Model brought great richness but failed to enrich the community in the same proportion. This was due to its advocacy for minimal government. And so the RT Model has completed  it's life. This collapse is painful no doubt but beyond the curtain of economic depression social prosperity is waiting as there is no other way to keep nation states survived. If community is not brought in the center greater pain is inevitable.
