GIVE UP NEUTRALITY

On the one side there are  North America and West Europe, all are democratic.states and on the other side there are Russia, China, North Korea and Iran , all are authoritarian states where governments are not chosen periodically by people's mandate. And some are in between them and these states have different types of governments like some are democratic like India, some are pseudo democratic like Turkey, Hungary, some are monarchies like those of middle East , some are theocratic-democratic likePakustan and  Israel and some are in fact infighting states like some of Africa ,Iraq , Syria,  and so on . Many of these are allied with either the US led faction or  China-Russia led faction. Those who don't have alliance with either faction claim to have independent views on the international issues but the bigger question is that in the present world where conflicts are inter-srctional is it possible to support China+ in one set of situations and the US+ in the other set of situations? Does it not mean that such so called neutral states may have no permanent reliable ally which can come to aid in case of dispute involving such a neutral state? In those days of cold war if we visit the history of NAM can we say that the NAM countries were truly non aligned? And what could such NAM Countries gain in the long run?  Now we see most of the earlier NAM countries are either struggling to become developed or some like Yogoslavia   vanished from the map, and some like Egypt are struggling to survive. This course of history has some great lessons which need to be unearthed for being torch bearer for today's so called neutral states which pose to be neutral to allow many parts like Ukraine , Ethopia , Senegal , Somalia etc to reel under the threat of humanitarian crisis. How can neutrality be afforded  by  sitting on fence when conflicts are reigning the world and humanity is under existential crisis due to wars, catastrophic  climate change, natural disasters,  trade driven exploration, racial/caste/communal clashes etc.
     This reality shows that states must take a position and preferably they should opt for democratic faction. It can't be said that the US+ faction is free from all evils but it's also a reality that in competition to anti-democratic states this faction at least provide better environment for enjoying freedom and dignity. This faction at least provides opportunity to fight for good where as in anti democratic states all efforts are made only to preserve the power of autocrat. So-called neutral states must take a position to fight evils of the world otherwise neutrality will not save the world from being ransacked by the despots.

WE NEED DEMOCRACY

    WE NEED DEMOCRACY All schemes and services are meant to serve the people and so the beneficiaries must have every right to make complaints if there is something wrong in the structure and / or in the implementation of the schemes and services. This right to complain is not a costly privilege but it's is the right and this right is protected when the people have right to free speech and other rights as enshrined in our Constitution. The government  is chosen to provide these services and schemes for their betterment, for improving their living standard and the government has no other business more important than this to do. So the government is bound to entertain the complaints and this obligation is fulfilled only when the Constitutionally protected rights are intact. BEYOND RT MODEL

BEYOND RT MODEL History is a playbook of fierce struggle among the state, the market and the community. There have been some rare periods of balance among them.  Present is also witnessing this fierce struggle. The state is advocating minimum.governsnce  in many parts of the world . This was also happened in past. And whenever this has happened the loser is always the community. Present is marked by failures of Reagon-Thatcher Model. Richness must have only objective and that objective is to enrich the community as a whole. The RT Model brought great richness but failed to enrich the community in the same proportion. This was due to its advocacy for minimal government. And so the RT Model has completed  it's life. This collapse is painful no doubt but beyond the curtain of economic depression social prosperity is waiting as there is no other way to keep nation states survived. If community is not brought in the center greater pain is inevitable.
