Fall of globalization will result into the the rise of neo colonialism as no country is self sufficient in natural resources to produce all necessary things to sustain her population and to dominate the world. Protectionism for short term may satisfy the l needs of local politics and economics but every country has limited market and this limited market will eventually limit the operation of economy which will ultimately lead to limit the growth. In absence of access to larger markets rich and influential countries to maintain their hegemony will ultimately rush to new forms of colonialism. And protectionism will turn friends into foes and this will disintegrate the world cooperation. Globalization has enabled countries to have peaceful access to world markets but due to protectionism this privilege will vanish causing frictions. New emerging economies finding the new order against their interests may resort to the formation of new blocks and such new blocks wil engage in infighting . And protectionism will also compel nations to increase subsidies . Low growth opportunity coupled with high subsidies will bring poverty. At the same time due to protectionism there will be rise of finished products and services. This will create a vicious circle of protectionism , low growth, and rise of discontent.
