HOW DEMOCRACY IS POSSIBLE

Whatever we discuss , whatever we do for electoral reforms are not going to strengthen democracy. Democracy is not all about holding free and fair elections because democracy is not limited to installation of a political party of popular choice in power. 
 Then what? Democracy is more concerned to equality and dignity and the dual goals of equality and dignity are ensured by the system of justice. But realization of justice is made possible by awareness of masses and awareness comes from knowledge and education. So if we desire to consolidate democracy in a society or a country we first need to make people aware, aware of the rights and duties,aware of the responsibilities of elite and powerful. This awareness comes from free flow of education which brings knowledge and information. Educational emancipation coupled with unhindered access to knowledge and information are the backbone with the help of  which democratic edifice is erected. Aware people ask for equality and dignity for themselves which compel governments to do in that direction. But if people are bereft of idea of justice, equality and dignity political parties in a democratic set up fight elections for their own power. When elections are fought for powers of political parties and leaders masses are not empowered. And when masses are not empowered then there is no occasion for establishment of democracy. It's anything like oligarchy or something else but not democracy.
  So idea of justice , guarantee for equality and dignity and access to education , knowledge and information make democracy possible which in turn makes this place a better place.

WE NEED DEMOCRACY

    WE NEED DEMOCRACY All schemes and services are meant to serve the people and so the beneficiaries must have every right to make complaints if there is something wrong in the structure and / or in the implementation of the schemes and services. This right to complain is not a costly privilege but it's is the right and this right is protected when the people have right to free speech and other rights as enshrined in our Constitution. The government  is chosen to provide these services and schemes for their betterment, for improving their living standard and the government has no other business more important than this to do. So the government is bound to entertain the complaints and this obligation is fulfilled only when the Constitutionally protected rights are intact. BEYOND RT MODEL

BEYOND RT MODEL History is a playbook of fierce struggle among the state, the market and the community. There have been some rare periods of balance among them.  Present is also witnessing this fierce struggle. The state is advocating minimum.governsnce  in many parts of the world . This was also happened in past. And whenever this has happened the loser is always the community. Present is marked by failures of Reagon-Thatcher Model. Richness must have only objective and that objective is to enrich the community as a whole. The RT Model brought great richness but failed to enrich the community in the same proportion. This was due to its advocacy for minimal government. And so the RT Model has completed  it's life. This collapse is painful no doubt but beyond the curtain of economic depression social prosperity is waiting as there is no other way to keep nation states survived. If community is not brought in the center greater pain is inevitable.
